This was my first so-called web app. The system I built allowed the professor who envisioned it to upload an article, scholarly or otherwise, attach notes and explanations to various sections, and then write a multiple-choice and true-false quiz for students to take after reading the article; students were also required to write a small summary of the article, though this section was graded only on length... The backend allowed the professor to specify wrong-answer explanations for quiz questions, view student grades (emphasis on participation), and upload and pair images with article sections.
